Amy provides administrative support to the project, assisting with the daily operations of the Alliance team, managing producer agreements, and generating reports for the USDA.
She has been with the university for over 11 years. Before joining the Alliance, Amy served as a Receptionist and HR Assistant for the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences Dean’s Suite. She also practiced as a Licensed Veterinary Technician at the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine’s Veterinary Teaching Hospital, in the Anesthesia department.
Amy is a proud alumna of Virginia Tech. She earned her associate degree in Agricultural Technology and her bachelor’s in Animal and Poultry Sciences. She is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Leadership Studies through the Online Master of Agricultural and Life Sciences program.
