Samantha Jameson is the Communications Manager for the Alliance to Advance Climate-Smart Agriculture at Virginia Tech, an $80 million USDA-funded pilot program that provides financial incentives for producers to adopt climate-smart agricultural practices. She leads the Alliance’s communications and outreach strategy across four partner states, collaborating with more than a dozen partner and producer organizations to recruit farmers and ranchers into the program.

In her role, Samantha oversees the Alliance’s brand and website, manages the producer dashboard, leads media relations, and directs social media strategy across platforms. With a focus on strengthening local food systems, she brings more than ten years of experience advancing sustainability in agriculture across multiple sectors.

Samantha holds a B.S. in Geography, Sustainable Architecture, and Planning from Texas A&M University and an M.S. in Environmental Partnership Management from the University of Aberdeen.
